Ruckus Media Group is an independent family entertainment company. We develop original apps for children to use on a variety of popular mobile platforms, and devices. Our mission is to create experiences through mobile devices that entertain toddlers to teens from their fingers to their minds ― and invite their imaginations to grow.  We are pleased to be able to deliver high-quality, family-friendly, educational entertainment to a global market at a price-point that allows any family to build the foundation for a child's library.

Launched in September 2010, Ruckus is now home to nearly 20 children’s apps including works by bestselling authors, illustrators and animators. Our line-up includes original, award-winning titles A Present for Milo (Parent's Choice Award, About.com Reader’s Choice, Mom's Choice Award), written and illustrated by Mike Austin; Andrew Answers (Best App Ever Award Finalist), created by bestselling children’s book author Alan Katz; and our newest original app Spot the Dot, created by popup master and New York Times best selling author, David A. Carter.

Ruckus also develops apps with established children’s brands and recently announced several strategic licensing agreements with Hasbro, Crayola, SeaWorld, The Wiggles, Cyberchase and Dino Dan. 

We have also partnered with Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education and media company to create a new innovative children's transmedia imprint which will publish across all platforms, including print-e-books, enhanced e-books and interactive story apps.  

In addition, we are the exclusive source in mobile media for the Rabbit Ears Library of classic children's stories as told by prominent celebrities such as Meryl Streep, Robin Williams and Denzel Washington.
